J.R. Shepherd is an aspiring New York Times and USA Today bestselling author with one book preparing to be released and multiple others in development.
During his influential years, Jason discovered a series of fantasy novels that sparked his imagination. Jump forward a few years, and he began scratching down concepts for an epic YA fantasy series and what will one day become that aforementioned bestseller.
After a little self-prodding, Jason began writing on Wattpad in 2017. Along the way, he won multiple awards and gained a newfound confidence. All his hard work paid off on a chilly January morning in 2019 when he finished writing the first draft of book one. It was a magical moment.
Jason currently resides in a small southern Kentucky village with his wife, son, and two cats, while working full-time in retail.
